Help! October and no buds.

Hey my plants have been in flower since the later part of august and it is now Oct. 2 and there's still no real signs of bud. Just a shit load of hairs (some of which are turning amber already) and the very beginnings of what looks like some bud but only on the tops. I live in Maine where its starting to get real cold at night and we've been hit with some really cloudy weather here lately. I've been bringing my plants inside at night so they don't get completely stunted from the cold. Only lights I have are 3 13 watt CFLs and I know that's not enough light. Any suggestions?20151002_132532.jpg20151002_132422.jpg 20151002_132430.jpg 20151002_132447.jpg 20151002_132458.jpg 20151002_132513.jpg

Keep it inside...are you keeping time with the outside???? or on your own light schedule ? this early in bud and as late as your weather is, it will never finish outside...just try to keep the time fraim...don't mess with the time fraim.

They look alright... Outdoor plants take longer to bud than indoor, so if your not getting all day direct sunlight it's going to take longer to form the buds

Id say that plant is pretty well damned. I would build it a little greenhouse and ride it out. Then next year use a bigger pot and get a plant out earlier in the year. Theres a technique called light deprivation that you may want to consider for next season. Even though its small it looks healthy. Good job.

All I've been doing is keeping then outside in the day and bringing them inside at night.

Haha if they stay that small you can keep doing that, but you won't have much to smoke on come harvest

Mary jawanna needs total darkness to sleep. 12 hours of total dark. Is she getting that or is it staying up all night with the lights on? Cause if it is it will stay in a vegetative state and never flower properly
Yes I made a little hut for them to sleep in total darkness. If I'm not gonna be able to finish them outside can I finish them inside with 3 23 watt CFLs? And if that won't work how many more will I need?

My first year i brought 2 plants inside Sept 15. They werent flowering at that point. I used 2 48" flouro shop lites and a couple of desk lamps. I got a zip off each plant and chopped them nov 30.
Keep the cfl's 2-5" away depending on size. I wouldnt use smaller than 23 watters. The rule of thumb is min 100 watts per plant. There are Y splitters you can buy that come in handy.
Check out the cfl section in Indoor growing, lots of great info there.
I am in New brunswick and its not easy growing in this neck of the woods.

Yeah a 400-watt to 600-watts HPS. Less than $100 including S/H and arrives within days.

No that wont work mate. Leave it outside in the sun and dont bring it in anymore, you house lights etc are probably upsetting the cycle.
