Hey all, I know there are many of the "marijuana plant problem" posts all over, I have looked at them numerous times. However I'm stoned right now, my plants are dying.. I just lost my source of income due to the economy and have a mortgage payment etc due in 3 days. I'd appreciate it very much if someone could help me out with this as I'm in no mood to deal with figuring my plant's problems out over my life's problems..
Again, thank you very much.

Blue Rhino
Day 32 Flower
FFOF soil with 30% more perlite mixed in
BMO nutes (5-2-5 veg, 1-8-7 flower, using 1/2 strength each)
1 to 2 tablespoon Epsom Salt per gallon water
R/O Water is 6.2 - 6.4 or so
Watered when dry, fed every 3 to 5 waterings

The plants are also VERY yellow..VERY VERY yellow/pale. The guy I got them from said easy on the nutes..so I didn't assume this to be the problem.
Sorry for the long post.

No more salt. Bring your p.H. up to 6.5-6.7 then flush, after that stick with bloom nutes and pull off all those dead or 50% dying leaves before you get pest or disease. You should be fine. I think your p.H. is to low and the nutes are not being taken up.

It happens bro.

What is happening is the plant is focusing all of it's energy and nutrients into flowering. The plant will actually cut off supply to some leaves that it does not consider necessary for photosynthesis.

It looks like the lower leaves are going which is a good thing. Cut off the dead leaves at the bottom and it will help the plant by not only sending energy to the top (where it needs to be) and it will also allow for the plant to receive more oxygen (which is crucial during the flowering process).

Your good bro!

What kind of light are you using?

I am curious because you said the plants are Extremely Yellow.

That looks like a mixture of ineffective lighting and Nitrogen deficiency to me mate. The salts probably aren't helping at this point, you may also be experiencing nutrient lock-out from the increase in salt. Do a clean flush and give your plants half strength 2 part veg nutrients, 1 part bloom nutrients. Try to green up the plant and get it healthy to accept flowers. Good luck mate, keep us posted

Thanks for the replies guys! Yes they are VERY yellow! I am using a 400w HPS lumatek with a HiLux bulb @ 56k lumens around 8 - 12 inches above the plants depending on the temp that day. I will cut out the salt, I just assumed I was supposed to put the tablespoon in each gallon I used..probably way too much? I know the lower leaves will fall off.. but I've still got 1/2 way to go til harvest that's why I was worried. A lot of people say it's fine for them to go..yet some of the BEST plants I have ever seen in person or on here do not go yellow this soon!
For now I'll cut the salt, flush, and hope it works out! Any ideas on a really good PH/EC/TDS/PPM sticks? I'd prefer to have a PH and TDS separate instead of combo! There are so many out there it's hard to decide. I hear Hanna can be a bad brand

:?:I was wondering if you ever figured out the problem? I am experiencing the same thing, and would like to be sure of the fix, before I screw them up worse. :wall: Was it Nute Deficiency? You stated you fed every 3 to 5 waterings, and I am starting to believe that this is not enough? Or that the plant is having trouble taking up nutes because of the PH being out of range? So, for the yellowing, looks like Nitrogen Def. and the browning, looks like Manganese Def?

I would appreciate a responce. I hope things have worked out for your plants! :weed:
