Help please!!!! Disaster!!!!

*I am just the house-sitter, no experience.*

We had to leave the plants for a week. One of them TIPPED OVER early in the week and then spent the whole week on the ground without water.

I returned to the saddest sight I have ever seen. All the leaves are completely dried and withered but the stem is still sturdy. The plant has always been the heartiest, and was not sick in anyway when it tipped over. It is about two and a half feet tall right now. I have cut off most of the leaves already except for the few that did not completely crumble when I touched them. I also watered it to try to shock it back. I don't want to do anything to make it worse though!

Please help with any tips or advice!!!!

yea that is a sad state of affairs.. Ide say, if over 90% of the leaves are dried and dead then the plant is dead but if there are still a quite a few leaves on it that are still alive Ide think that the plant COULD possibly come back to life BUT it probably at this point is not even worth trying to save (affects harvest)...
if there are a few leaves left, and you really want to try to save it.. I have some suggestions:
Raise humidity by 15%
Raise light levels as much as possible without temp going too high (leaf surface temp should not exceed 85 degrees)
Snip off all dying or dead leaves/branches which it looks like you already did but if ones are yellowing, cut them off.
Increase photoperiod to 24 hours
After allowing a few days to go by if the plant shows signs of 're-life' then add some fertilizer with high nitrogen content.
good luck!
