Help!!! Pots have too much...

Hi friends, My plants got a little nute burned so i flushed them really well. My pots have been heavy and the soil isn't really drying out a whole lot. The plants have bounced back nicely but man these pots are heavy still. Its been 6 days since the flush. Is there anything I can do to speed up the drying out process...
 
Not really. In 5 gallon buckets a week of 10 days is not unusual.

Just let them be. Your biggest problem is patience. Why not add this to he thread where you showed the problem?

You need to just accept that pot takes time to grow. You can't make it grow faster by over feeding. It doesn't need your constant attention. Correct that and you ill get better at growing.

Its ok if you go a few days without looking at them. It takes time and its ok if they go a week without you needing to do anything.

I read about root rot so that's why i was inquiring about drying out my mediums. I know pot takes time to grow. I'm new so its all still fascinating to me. I probable do need to be more patient. Your right about that bud. thanks for the tuff love

I get that. Its new and exciting. Most new growers love thier plants to death.

It takes time.

As far as rot its not a concern with properly draining soil. If it drains well enough you can water frequently.

Let them dry to the point of drooping. It won't hurt the plant and will encourage root growth. It will also show you what a plant that needs water looks like. It will start in the lower leaves first and once you know what to look for it will help.

That's the biggest thing. Don't let a bottle or schedule tell you what the plant needs. Learn to read the plant.

Get some house plants. Various kinds. The will all need different water and feeding needs and it will help you read plants better.

okay i get it about try and learn the plants. maybe instead of messing with them i'll just watch them. If they droop then i'll water.
