Need help fast guys, I've been growing in nft and its my 1st grow I had an accident and was in hospital for 2 nights I got home and and one of my plants had toppled over, I'm pretty sure the rock wool cube ripped from the roots? I got it standing back up and supported the other plants, how bad is this will it kill my other plants if there's a dead root system in the tank? Please help

I'm no expert, but I would keep a eye on it good for a couple days and basically this sounds rediculus to some but the plant will tell you for sure, srry bout the accident it will work out hopefully

i've never run nft, but i don't see why having one potentially dead plant in the piping would kill the others, unless it was something infectious that killed the first plant, which it wasn't, ie, no need to fret imo.

I am just reaching here, but wouldn't the dead roots rot in the nft and the process of decomposition in a humid and wonderful stream of water invite friends to have a root party?

Wouldn't it be better to just clear out the dead roots?

Cheers for the replays, think my girls are ok, last 24 hours there's been a good 7 litres of water sooked up so can't seeing them being to traumatised lol still need to keep an eye on them. Suppose they wouldn't be taking water if the roots had been ripped off. I've never panicked so much in my life lol, it's my 1st ever grow and they doing a lot better than expected only 4 weeks into flower 3 plants and about 25+ colas all looking like there going to be like Coke cans. Again thanks for the replys
