Help setting up

Okay, me and my friends have decided to start a grow op. It is rather on the small side since only 5 plants are the max for it to be legal. We don't know which strain, but I was thinking a hydro that is on the indica side. Any suggestions? Also the grow room is going to be a small wine cellar. We don't know if hydroponic or soil. Also my friends suggested autoflower seeds and then just grow 5 plants at once. However I was more thinking of a mother plant and then always having one clone ready and 3 plants with 2 weeks difference. What's better? Also I'm thinking definitely a squirrel vent for airflow. Do we need a carbon filter or are 5 plants with a strain that doesn't smell strongly not that bad (smell wise)? Also we don't know what lights. If we do a motherplant we'll need two rooms and if we do autoflower we will only need one. What lights should we get? (We aren't billionaires but we have a little money to spend). Also how should we set up the electricity. We'll need a timers for everything and pumps and lights. Physics was never of interest to me so unfortunately I don't know a lot about it.

I wouldnt do autos imo.
You cud: 1 mom, 2 veg 2 flower
Or: 5 from seed, veg for however, flower. You cud further increase yield with scrog.
400w lights do the math, i got 8 of em
You can easily divide a room or even build a little veg box out of would with vent holes etc. not hard.

i would keep a mother seeds are pricey between shiping cost and buying them if only going insmaal are i would go with two 250 watt one for veg and flower then a floecent for the mother. grow dwc its easy the plants grow very fast and pretty cheap set up

250 or 400 watts of what kind of light? And could you maybe show me a good website where I can buy lights. Plus I could just keep the mother plant in the veg room I don't need an extra one right?

i'd get a t5 setup for the mom's and like a 400 watter for the flowering room..

i'm also not a fan of auto's as they contain ruderalis genetics and they're not the most potent thing in the world..

there are ton's of sites for lights.. htg supply always has a good rep around here... also that's 400 watts of hid, either mh or hps lighting would be best..

and always get a carbon filter.. even low odor strains aren't no odor, and i've yet to really get a plant that doesn't have any stench to it once it hits a few weeks of flower. better to be safe then sorry imvho..
