Help soil pH?

so im growing outdoors or (guerrilla growing) and i need a little advice on pH correction

the question i have for all you grow masters out there is if my ph level starts to fall say its at 6 or 5 how much lime roughly do i need to add to each of my plants as to not over correct and get it to alkoline? (they are in the Veg state and are about 4 ft high and are a mainly sativa strain)

ummmmmmmmm from what i understand, lime wont make it too far one way or the other. i think its a buffer, which just brings everything else to its pH. follow the instructions on the packaging

its like saying its a strong pH, not close to extremes (1 or 14 on the scale), but strong in the sense of stability.

if it is near a tap......my tap water PH is somewhere between 8 and 9......so If I ever have acidic PH I just sorta "flush" with tap water and all is well.

dolomite lime is what you want that nick17gar is talking about, be careful not to get the wrong kind cause it can cause a drastic change in ph which is bad you want the change to be slow over days not hours you want you ph around 6.5ish dolomite is 7 i beleive i had to use it last year in my soil cause i used mg soil which was very acidic..
