help, what kind of system did i buy

HELP WHAT KIND OF SYSTEM IS THIS and What AM I MISSING?


hey fellas, i picked up a small system from a fellas who was having a hard time. Anywayz im not quite sure what type of hydroponic system it is. I'm also wondering what else I would need to get started. I've been using dirt for years and have no clue about anything hydro.











Im guessing the pump plugs into the green hose on backside of the table top, and than the water drains from the big black res into a smaller res that I dont have? And the pump sits in that and runs 24/7?

honestly you got a dope setup, im sure your friend told you this already but its tru, thats just a plain ol flood tray, but with that lid you can do many different things, if your gonna do flood and drain, that keeps the light out of your roots, you can do a top feed dripper system, also you can even do aeroponics, most of use dont use the lid cus we stack the plant close and use clay pellets, looking closer your friend sold you an aeroponics system, just need the net cups to be suspended in the are while water sprays the root zone
