Hi! This is my first grow and i have 3 headband plants in 1 gallon buckets with happy frog soil under a 125 watt cfl light. The plants are getting about 6 inches tall and i have to do three things in the next week and they are....Add nutes for the first time, transplant into 3 gallon buckets and put under a metal halide light. Of these three, what order should i do them in? Should i use a half strength or quarter strength solution for my first feed and what is the best way to transplant them?

If they NEED food, then you can feed them a LITTLE.. and wait a couple of days to transplant. Don't feed and then transplant because you will overfert if the soil has anything in it. New soil will have the nutes they need. If you can't transplant first, and they NEED food only, then give them a little and let them absorb it for a day or two then transplant. Or just transplant now and give them a little water to encourage roots spreading into the new soil.

As far as lights, you can do that whenever. Just start them higher up the first day, lower it a little the 2nd and then dial it in as low as you can without heat stress after 2-3 days. This will harden them to the super lumens gradually and they will explode with lush green growth.

Depends on what they are in. If you start in solo cups all you do is crinkle them to loosen the entire root/soil ball and put all of it in a new, bigger pot surrounded by fresh soil.

yeah i think im just going to feed them the next time theyre thirsty. Probably just a a 1/3 strength solution. Then once that soil dries out a lil bit then ill transplant them into 3 gallon buckets and feed them water a few times before feeding again. Once i transplant them into 3 gallon buckets ill put that metal halide in also so it gives them more room to grow because I have a feeling theyre going to explode. How's that sound?

Or should i water the soil one more time after i feed them in the 1 gallon buckets and then transplant them into the 3 gallon buckets? I also have nutes like route 66 and sugar daddy to deal with post transplant stress. Should i feed the plants that right after i transplant them?
