So i've got some seedling coming along in rockwool i imagine tomorrow is the day they go under lights. "Afghan kush ryder auto fem"
I bought and older mh 400W off of ebay. The ballast is connected right to the bulb (deffently not meant for growing...but bright as the sun) Here's my question. The bulb is painted white.
Should i use paint thinner and remove the paint? Not worrie about it, or buy a new one?
Question two. This light will be aprx 4-6 inches under a mylar covered wooden shelf is that safe?
Last question. My closet is 2ft deep by 7.5 ft tall and 3 feet in length.
What size inline or duct fan could i use to cool the 400wh and MOST IMPORTANTLY attach to a carbon filter for some clean stealth air. ?? Pumping it into my attic. (side question: The exhaust dryer metal hose thing is gowing into my attic whitch has alot of lose "confettie" like insulation is that okay?
My avg temp in attic is aroun 80-98 degrees.
