Help with first indoor grow

Ok so i started growing outdoors and am fairly new to growing
Im going to start growing indoors for the first time soon.
From what people told me was to buy some CFL'S and make a little growbox or setup.
I went to home depot and saw some CFL light bulbs....but do they screw into a regular lamp?
And can i go through all the stages with using just CFL's?
Ill prolly have 2 of em per plant maybe somewhere around 20 watts per each one. Im just guessing..
Would this be enough to get some buds?

But still...i couldnt find the info i needed.
Theres noway i can ask this question without seeming like a noob but i have never dealt with growin indoors and usin CFL'S.
If i buy the CFL lightbulbs do they screw into a regular lamp??

Yeah. I bought those clip on lamps and screwed my cfl into them. I think a regular socket is okay if you are only using one bulb per socket. Are you planning to use a Y and 2 bulbs per socket? If so, definately use ceramic socket.

I have an account at a wholesaler where I live and that's where I got them. That doesn't help you. Try "hi tech garden supply" online or home depot. Get the big cfl's. Mine are 42w. Also remember the side of the bulb is what you want to aim at your plants, NOT the tip.

Wordddd........so can i force the bud buy giving it 12/12 early?
prolly wouldnt yield as much but what is the least amount of time to get ur plant to bud
