Help with first time buy

I've never grown before and am looking to start growing just 1 plant in my attic. I want something that has a short time from seed to harvest and obviously is good for indoor growing.

I was looking at lowrider, but it seems that they were all auto flowering, and I want to be able to take clones, which is where i run into my problem of deciding which strain.

So my criteria is:

Indoor
Short harvest time
Cloneability
Potency

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I think you are making a mistake (in my humble opinion) of wanting clones, when you can get lowryder feminized seed. To get those Clones, you will need to do some vEGGING, and grow larger plants to determine SEX.

Two other great strains would be a Skunk and Northern Lights. Skunk kind of smells but is easy to grow, potent and a big yielder; Northern Lights is low odor, easy to grow (you could grow it in lead based paint), and has everything else you're looking for.

And another option would be to buy single feminized seeds for a few strains, grow/cure them out, pick your favorite strain. Pick n Mix does not ship to the States, Attitude has a small Pick n Mix section and do ship to the US.

Another thing you should think about is what kind of high/stone you want: energetic, sedative, euphoric, narcotic, trippy, clear, up ...

Thanks for the reply's. The reason I want clones is good stuff is hard to find here, and i can't really afford it very often. I'm moving to a different state in august, which is why short harvest time is good, and if I can have one mother plant and one clone at a time, i figure i can have some good smoke and maybe some butter with the plant matter every 3 weeks or so.

Roseman, if I buy feminized seed's online, won't the clones from any of those still be female? Also, i plan on using cfl's due to money and space issues, so I don't expect keeping the mother in a veg state would be to hard. Of course I don't really know since i've never grown before.

Oh Yeah, as far as the effect goes, I have a Da Buddah Vaporizer. Can you get those different kinds of highs when vaporizing? I've never been to big a smoker to even really notice different kinds of highs. Then again mostly what I smoke is just mids for maybe a week out of the month.
