Help with led light please ?

I’m getting a 2mx2m tent and I’m gonna go with this 1200w led light pictures below it has good reviews how many plants can I put under it

Not to expensive mate that one was £100 for 1200w

Well for one thing it isn't really 1200 watts. Probably more like 120. You need way more light. If that's your budget, forget LED, and get HID. Maybe a 1000w DE HPS. I don't use HPS, so @Renfro is the one I'd ask.

Can you give me a idea of what I would led I would need for a 2mx2m grow tent and would I just need one or 2 and what kind would be good to get

You'd need a grand or more for quality LED for a 6x6 space, unless you build your own, but even then it's not cheap.

Probably the 1000 watt DE, but I'm not sure, that's why I called on Ren.

Two lights won't cover a 6x6 very well, the best way to go might be 4 x 600 or 4 x 315 or a mix of those. Each covers a 3x3 area.

To cover a 6x6 using 1 or two lights is going to make for weak lighting around the edges and strong lighting in the center of the light/s. Like a DE HPS might do a 5x5 or 4x6 area depending on the reflector used.

A 6x6 is an odd size. A 4x8 would be great for two SE 1000w HPS lights, each with a 4x4 area to cover.

It's a lot of area to cover. It will come with some heat to do it correctly. You could just choose to light part of the 6x6.

IF you wanted to just use part of the tent, toss a DE 1000 watter in there and call it a day. Most DE's have a rectangular footprint and could cover a 4x6 area well.

Another route would be a Timber Fatty VS or a HLG 650r and cover a 5x5 area with less heat and even spread of light.

^ what he said..... i almost made the same mistake. go for some Quantum Boards. thats what i did...if you build yourself its way cheaper than buying it put together.

This is just for the future I’ve currently got a 1.2x1.2 tent with one 600w hps light in the plants are 7 sour zkittles autos they are only 10 days old at the moment will I have to put another 600w light in and if so when should I do it
