I don't know the exact date that these sprouted, but I have a pretty good idea. I'd say they sprouted around April 10 and for the first week I had them (4 fem) under a couple of really small CFLs as I was still doing some things to my grow area. They have been under a 400W HPS for 2 weeks now and the progress is significant.
I think that I may need to put them closer to the light as they appear tall and lanky to me. I've had them about 3ft away from the light source for the entire time. My concern is the fact I want to SCROG and I've read that the netting should be placed 8-12 inches above the dirt so when the plant reaches that height the training can start.
Do you think I should put these closer to the light source awhile and hope they bulk up before I SCROG? FWIW the tallest of the 4 girls is 10in, with the shortest being a little under 6in. I was going to veg for probably 6 weeks under this HPS, giving me 4 more to go before I put the chicken wire above them, but considering these pics what do you think?
