Help with soil and nurtients

ah, my first post here, i tried to absorb as much as i could without asking any questions but i finally need to ask. I was wondering if i used fox farms soil, would i need nutrients? i mean i can buy nutrients if i REALLY need them if there around the 30$ range but id rather save my money till i get a little more in case i need something else..OR should i just go with hydroton? thanks

It really depends on if you think you need them or not, plenty of people grow without having to buy nutrients and instead go a more organic way and may actually "make" their own nutrients. If you have the money i would say to invest in good nutrients as it will help your plants in the long run.

Yeah you'll still need nutrients, but it doesn't have to be cannabis specific and you don't need to spend a lot of money. For under ten bucks you can go to Lowes or Home Depot and pick up a bag of all purpose organic fertilizer that will last you all season.

thanks guys, any suggestions for brands or specifics? i know theres those "go boxes" or whatever that are around 30$ would this be sufficient for a first timer?

bat guano or worm castings, ff should last you for a little though.
