Hempy bucket advise plz read

Hi I have. 4 hempys going they r massive hempys

There about 35 galleon ea lol
Ok so when I made buckets up I added a hand full of peat coir brick about 6 in under the perlite rest of pots r 100% perlite the brick had expanded when I added it I did this so I could very closely water my plant at seedling age
My plants r now between 4 to 7 inches talle
I've just be feeding tiny amout of water at 1/2 str nutes for last few days and misting lots there growing very well and healthy 600w cooltube as all my plant do lmfao

Question ?
when should I mix up nutes and fill the bottom of the hempys I don't wanna fill if root have not reached that far as I don't want there first taste of the bottom water to be stagnant any ideas plzideas plz

Good question.. I can't really answer that except that you will want to start with low ppm and work your way up. When you fill your buckets you should be letting them overflow so that would eliminate the stagnant water..

What are you using to catch the water as it overflows?

Iam got a dish about 6 litres and I attacked hoses to hole at bottom so I can over flow easily image.jpgimage.jpg my bubblegummer

Wish I had X-ray vision lol

That's a pretty big pot for your light,have you tried using a 16oz dixie cup for the baby first and wait until the roots fill the cup?Than up pot to a 3 gallon until the plant is 2 times the height of the pot....than put her in that large pot.Takes about 2 months veg time in the large pot before the 12/12 light period.Plus you will need 1000w hps for those 4 plants

Um no lol 2 months of veg
Why a 1000w ?
I don't transfer ever I allways start in a large pot
Used to grow 4 plants with a 400w image.jpgimage.jpg both grows 400w 4 plants
And I've never veged for 2 months

This is what I would do. Since you already have drains in your buckets then your Okay. I would go ahead and start with the nutes and every once and a while I would just tip the buckets to the side and drain the water out and refill to eliminate the stagnant issue that you are worried about. As far as the 1000 watt bulb that is not needed for only 4 plants and the footage. No plant will use more than is necessary of light and this plant ideally will only use 9000 lumens maximum so a 1000 watt is useless and a waste of electricity.

I didn't take his advise lol saying pot 2 big for light lol no such thing is the dumbest advise I ever heard
And start ina Dixie cup lol
If I wanted to start ina small pot I'd buy pots lol not cups
And his takes 2 months to veg in a 3 gal pot never heard such rubbish maybe if u transplanted from the Dixie cup and majorly fcked up the transplant and stunted it lol

I've filled the res with 1/2 str nutes in 2 of the hempys with the biggest seedlings took 4 litres I can just see water at bottom of the tube so if it drinks I'll know and how to judge took 4 litres to fill to that point
That's 1 gal I topped the plants and let's see if they take off I hope so

He was not talking about me weeden...bye the way 12oz with a 400 was good,same as my 23 plant(small for us,but an experiment)
We have different needs you and me,I do not have the room to start the kids in big pots,we would need about 5000 sg feet to do the big pots and a shit load of soil and lights.
I wonder if other growers agree that a 400w is better than a 1000w?after all the voltage bill is only about 20% of the value of the weed.

.yea, i wasn't talking about you.sorry for the confusion. .as for the light depends on how much space you're working with. 600s are more efficient then both 1000 watt and 400.
