Hello! This is my first post here, I'm a relatively new grower. have been grow adjacent for a long time but this is my first time holding the reins, and making the decisions instead of just following some one elses itinerary. Lots of never before thought of things i had to learn about, ie negative and positive g*&D*&m pressure. lol ANYWAYS-
I have been growing a couple seeds i got from a hermied headband plant, aware that supposedly they will have a higher likelihood to herm. this big lovely beautiful headband plant showed a few sets of bananas today. Only on the bottom bud sites and only on this one branch. I immediately removed affected area as well as all lower bud sites leaving only the top bud site on each branch and with those I went thro and clipped any swollen(actually all of em i could find tbh) calyx or whatever those are called. Is there any chance I nipped that problem in the bud so to speak. I dont think that this psuedo science im hoping for is a thing in the real world, and that plants destiny may be the landfill.
