hermies?

i cant remember where i read it but i remember reading something about males becomes females hermie are so how beneficial. has anyone else heard of this or know what the possible benefits (if any) could be?

I know they use hermie's to make Feminised seeds, its why feminised seeds have higher chance of becoming hermie. Other than that I wouldn't want them in my crop.

i thought that a hermmie was a female that turns male.when you sex and she show that she is a female. later down the line wrather you stress her out or some thing she starts showing balls then polen sacks,all the traits of a male in whitch you dont want in you crop. so to me it a female turned male for one reason or another

A plant can be genetically a hermie which is a true hermie both Male and Female from the start, or shocked into a hermie, started as either male and female then becomes a bit of both.

You dont get to see true hermies much as on these the male sex generally shows first and they get thrown away before you see signs of the femal organs.

Shocked hermies are more common, espeically from feminised seeds. They become another sex as a way of survival because the shock makes them think they are going to die.

Ive heard of people who have had male plants and they just keep cutting off their nuts and they then shock into hermies so they can get bud from them.

But generally the only plant any good to the home grower, unless they want seeds, is the female, cos when smoked
