Herms make baby girls?

no, They are selfed, I take colloidal silver and turn just a branch of a female into a male, then I take the pollen and self pollinate the entire plant, Creating feminized seeds , There are other methods but none of which that I know of use hermies, Kinda defeats the purpose of making female seeds IMO

EDIT: Now that I think a little more, every seed I've ever grown from a hermie was female though, Just food for thought :) BB

I've been growing from seed stock that came from a herm, and every one has been female.
However, the male trait was weakly expressed. Only one ball on the third node of every developed branch.
So I only got a dozen seeds from my micro-box. Nevertheless, it caused me to question the "wisdom" of those who automatically kill them if they turn up in a garden.

Hermies that happen early in flowering will beget about 30% hermie plants. I've done it before and that's what I've got. When 'nanners show at the end of flowering those will produce females as it's the plant trying to get fucked and forcing some male flowers but they only have the female chromosome so they work like the ones you get using colloidal silver.

:peace:

They get killed to terminate any potential pollination?

I'm scouring my girls for balls every three days. Which is detrimental to their trichomes, because everyone turn out to be female, I have overcrowding because I couldn't bring myself to terminate a girl.

Ahhh, but here's the rub of the matter; if the male aspect is weakly expressed (like my one-ball case), then--I hypothesize--the pollen sac becomes crowded with calyxes, which prevents widespread pollination. That's the main reason I did not get more seeds based on observation.

However, there is a caveat in my case, which may have a large effect, in that I don't have any forced air circulation on the plants (I just let negative pressure guide the air flow). This may also have resulted in my having less seeds when the early sacs blew.

In any event, this matter needs more study IMHO. There's too much folklore and not enough evidence. Based on this thread (so far), it is weighing in favour of female offspring.

As for overcrowding, well, that's a different issue altogether.

Hermi pollen produce female seeds simple as that.
Your post makes absolutely no sense at all, Thats what I said at the bottom of the post. They may have made fem seeds in the very early days(70s & 80s) by using herm's but these days i'd think that a respectable seed company would not do that as it's not good for repeat business

U are the one that doesn't make sense at all, not always but mostly hermi pollen will make female seeds since the pollen only contains female chromosome. Thats why respetable breeders don't even like to do femenized seeds and only do regular beans because they don't like to fuck up there names with hermi traits in there strains .,But anyway im not in the mood to start a dick measuring contest., Or even better u know what u are absolutely right and I'm wrong and don't know what im talking about. Happy bruh? Now let's go on with our lives..

No I am not happy when someone says what I'm saying is wrong with not one single shred of info given stating that anything I said was inaccurate, I suppose it would make sense if you knew how to comprehend simple english presented in proper form, I also see from your post you googled it and read the third link down , I did too because I figured I was in fact wrong, but I'm not.
The OP asked if they make feminized seeds from hermies, YES in the 70s and 80s they figured out they could do it that way and the first feminized seeds were created that way, NOW it does not happen from a respectable breeder, They self the plant using colloidal silver or gibberellic acid to produce feminized seeds because as you said, the plant has only female chromosomes. And there are tons of great breeders who offer feminized seeds and they have been in business for years,
