hey everyone, just wanted to say what's up and introduce myself a little bit..
i've been smoking weed since i was 14 years old. it has always been a hobby of mine and i love smoking with friends and new people. i am incredibly lucky to have never run into problems with the law since i lived in the southeast us my entire life. most people around here look at marijuana the same way as harder drugs and it has really bothered me for a long time.
i just graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in business management. i hope to one day open my own bar or restaurant and work for myself. after graduating, i took a cross country road-trip with my best friend who moved to chicago a couple of years ago. it was the most amazing trip of my life.
details of the trip: (you can skip if you want)
i drove to chicago to pick him up (sampled chicago style pizza and drank a little) then we drove through the night and made it to denver, colorado. i loved it there. the atmosphere, the mountains, the food, the people. my friend has friends in the electronic music scene and we were able to get backstage for the bassnectar concert at redrocks and smoke weed with some really cool people. we were able to acquire 1 ounce of some of the best weed ive ever smoked in my life for 200 dollars flat. i was blown away. and the guy i got it from said you don't need a medical card because the cops wont give you a fine regardless (plus it's cheaper to not buy the weed from a dispensary they told us). after that we headed to.. san francisco
san francisco was so beautiful. i loved the bridges and all the buildings. we went to "hippy hill" and smoked a fat joint with a huge group of hippies. as we walked back to the car some really young kids asked us, "hey do you know where to get acid?" pretty cool area. i bought a small waterpipe from a store called goodfellas and we ate a sandwich at the intersection of haight and ashbury. after that we headed down the pacific coast highway to LA.
la was pretty cool. it is a huge city with a lot of traffic. we didnt really get to go out on the town because the trip was starting to get expensive. however, we still had some of the denver weed and decided to go smoke some out on laguna beach. we pull up to the gate to get into the beach area and a cop smells the weed in our car tells us to pull over and give him the weed. i was scared and didnt know what to do but gave it to him anyway. he searched us and the rest of the car and told us "im not going to write you guys a ticket just crush the weed on the street." we were sooooo relieved (we would have been going to jail on the east coast) but we were left with no weed.
so my friend calls one of his friends who tells us to go to a dispensary and the guy there would hook us up because they business associates or whatever. we were able to get in and look through all of the different jars and we pick out "fire og kush" and "crystalwreck". i asked him how he got into the dispensary business and he tells us its something he is passionate about etc and he mentions he was in the movie "super high me". the guy we just bought weed from was actually one of the dispensary owners on that movie! sooo cool!
after la we headed to las vegas and did the whole casino thing, which was surprisingly a lot more fun than i thought it would be. we also went to see some big electronic music festival called edc and that was insanely fun. after that i headed home and he decided to head back to california with some friends we met in vegas. i am so thankful for everything i got to experience.
-end of trip details
so now im back on the east coast. i don't have school or anything else stopping me from moving anymore, so im thinking about moving to denver and trying to find a management job at a restaurant or something. i would stay here in the southeast, but if society down here knew who i really am - a person who enjoys smoking weed - they would lock me up in a heartbeat. i want to live somewhere that doesn't consider me a criminal. it sucks.. but thats the way it is. ill probably be moving to colorado within the next month or two.
anyway let me know what you guys think about my trip / goals for the future.
this is an awesome website and ive been lurking for some time now btw
peace out!!!
