How you's guys doing? Only just found this site after so many years, I have got to say I am in absolute awe of the things you guys know honestly I know the basics and to be honest I actually thought I had a not bad knowledge of growing and I do having tried a number of systems with good results/yields and smoke from them over the years all with the guidance of my grower friend but still know a fair bit, but everything went to hell once the law caught me (I was a grower in the UK (ILLEGAL) I am moving to Canada next month for a great job and plan on living there forever if all goes well so did not bother setting back up after they caught us, although in hindsight I probably could've got in another grow before I go but I played it safe like a MUG
lol I should've just went for it and got whatever I could before leaving). Some of the stuff you's guy's go into is unbelievable ABSOLUTE RESPECT!!!
I have had some of the best weed in my area by growing just out of coco (no Ph or any other scientific measurements) in a cupboard with a meter width probably half a meter depth and I'd say just a bit over 6 foot in height and had fat as fuck nugs of crystaly sticky GOOD SHIT!!! The plant I grew was pineapple express and I swear on my own life that this thing took the whole fucking cupboard up and still to this day is the best weed I have ever smoked and that plant was 2 years ago so sorry no pics. It was a straight vertical grow (not like the vertical bulb ones in this forum) with a horizontal 600hps over the top and a few fans going over the plant trying to circulate the air in the cupboard, humidity in this cupboard was unbelievable well over 80% most of the time when doors were closed with light on as ventilation was non-existent in the cupboard had to be open all the time when the light was on and I dont have a clue of the temp but I had to keep my window open all the time even in winter when we went down to -15 at times my window was constantly open because of the heat the 600hps was putting out (my room is tiny) obviously my heating was on aswell but it was -15 lol (now I know some of you may question why I used a 600 in such a small place, the answer is my friend only had a 600 spare and I had no cash so it was 600 from start to finish except from seedling stage that was just a florescent light only got put under 600 when it was at a foot and half or so) No scrog control or any type of odour control just completely basic. I know you would probably say that its because of no odour control i got caught but it wasn't I only didn't have odour control for that first ever plant everything else was carbon filtered and had ona or ono (cant remember) gel capsules all over the place, got busted because of one sad ass jealous friend got caught and gave me up to get a lower fine absolute scum bag (he knew that I would've helped him get over this but naw he got a £240 fine and I got a £1000 fine and 240 hours community service, he had 8 plants all 2 weeks from coming down I had 3, 2 silver haze and 1 kaya 2 weeks from coming down (these were in a 2 metre by 1.2 I think metre secret jardin tent with 2 600 hps the yield we would've got of the three would've been in the 30 or more oz region the three of them took up the tent vertically and horizontally) complete madness no control over growth atall i just let them grow they got burned at the top because of the bulbs but i never got to see how they would've got on cause o the cops (bet they had a good smoke that weekend lol).Anyway enough of the doom and gloom of getting caught I hate talking about that bastard.
Also just to give you a scale of the cupboard we grew in it was just a random seed but was good green it was just a 250w bulb and the sad wee fan you can see at the side over this and look at the sad bit of reflective board we had at the back of it LOL!!!
I've had a serious look over alot of grows in the forum for when I start again and I am not putting down anything I don't mention its just these things just make it for me completely, from LEDS to every other kind of lighting system (I had no idea there were so many) the three things that stand out over everything for me having only ever used HPS and coco I am definitely going to go for when I can is the LED area 51 sgs and the new area 51 one in one grow room OR the one in scottyballs pineapple express G13 thread using a Ceramic Metal Halide bulb through the whole grow and a custom made aerophonics system both of these look like they can match The HPS (this opinion is only from looking at pictures in alot of threads) please anyone correct me or give me better advice on what to use if you think I am wrong with this? Be aware I am not planning on growing any time soon I'm just dreaming of what I can do with this stuff Its been so long since I've grew I am actually so excited to start again and its months away before I can start
Its the nutrients, enzymes, lumens, Ph, ppm, and all <that scientific stuff I ain't understanding when you's talk about it on the forum honestly its like stevie hawkings is writing the equation for the meaning of life LOL. When I get going again I'll be on here to ask you can count on that.
Anyway so glad I found this forum and look forward to many years of coming on it.
