What up y'all! I disappeared for a while after the last harvest... school and being Ms. Olimar has kept me busy lately. I do plan on updating regularly again now.

We started our second grow and are pretty excited. We have a good variety, mostly non-fem... that will be interesting :)

In the tent, under 600w MH:
1 LSD, fem
1 White Domina, fem, freebie
1 Blue Dream, non fem, bagseed
2 Dank's Supreme, Dank's, non fem
2 Sunshine Skunk, Dank's, non fem

We popped them I think on 11/26. I topped/fimmed all of them today. Planning on keeping them under far better control than last time... they got WAY too huge lol! Only gonna veg them for ~6 weeks (from seed) and hopefully keep a stricter feeding schedule. Also, Olimar is gonna switch em to 18/6 today/tmw once he sets up the timer.

So hi friends, old and new! :D

from a paper towel they go into red cups w coco. when we can see roots poking out of the holes in the bottom of the red cups, i transplant to these 1gal with coco and perlite. these pots are $0.96 at home depot. from there we'll put them in 3gal smartpots.

looks like a great start! welcome back, I'm lime nice to meet you...and subbed :D

One gallon pots with peat based soil mixed with jolly gardener organic compost and topsoil(picked it up locally). Under 600 watt hps with espoma products as nutes. Waiting on advanced nutes iguana grow and bloom but I'm convinced I need more perlite. Started from the bottom with no resources but thanks to this site learned a shit ton in a short Time. Ill get u a pic here soon. They were planted on the 19th

My qrazy train planted on the nineteenth. What kind of nutes do you use. Been thinking of trying different methods was just told organic was the way to go

Another stupid question here, whats the coco you speak of?
Coco or coco coir is the shredded husk from the coconut tree. Pretty popular alternative to traditional soilless if not also more expensive. People rave by it and I've not heard anything bad except the cost, which is comparable to some major soil brands.

we pay ~$30 for a 50L bag. i have no idea if that's high or low hehe. i prefer coco mostly because i'm familiar with it and i know how to use it. we have always used coco because when we first started, we read it was a stable medium with a lot of info behind it.

hmm, yours should definitely be bigger! have you poked around a bit to see if you can see any roots? if you can't see any, my guess is the peat is too compact for the tiny roots to spread. try transplanting to the same size pot but with a higher perlite/soil ratio. knock of as much of the excess peat as you can w/o doing too much damage to the roots. we use house and garden A and B. i use some other botanicare supplements once they get to full strength nutes. if you're interested i will go get the info.

hehe, that's what i thought of at first too. actually, i thought hydropebbles (google it) were balls of cocoa... lol. but yeah, it's shredded and cleaned coconut husks. it has no nutrients in it so you MUST feed if you use coco. it's basically a blank slate, and technically hydroponic.

Ya I would appreciate that miz thanks. And no I have not but I've known for a while now my issue was drainage. Don't have anywhere to get perlite tho. Thinkin about telling the local store to dig some out of the back cuz my girlfriend needs it for her house plants lol. Would order but sketched now. My brand new t5 showed up in a box that said grow light on it. So being in a non legal state I'm fuckin freaking out!!!!

btw you wouldn't happen to know some miraculous DIY soil drainage improvement tech would ya thanks happy growing
