OK; I should state first that I have not used them myself. And I haven't found any posts on here (except my own) that mention them. Are people not using them or are they just not writing about it if they are? They have to be the least expensive HPS bulbs on the market ($35/600W) and I find it hard to believe that no budget-conscious RIU medical growers are using them.
I haven't even started rough carpentry for my space yet (will be posting a thread detailing it, so look for it in the "Design" forum if you're interested). So; I haven't bought bulbs (though a 600W digital ballast and "deluxe cool tube" package is "on the truck" as I write this). What I'm wondering, basically, is how many RIU growers have used HID Hut's "full spectrum" bulbs and what their results have been as compared to, say, Hortilux or Sylvania (or other "brand names"; you get the point). All I can say for sure is that if I'm going to be tossing bulbs at the first sign of "lumen loss" (at least twice a year in a perpetual grow) then I'm better off (at least financially) buying inexpensive bulbs. Thanks in advance, all... -- P.
