i would like to knwo what configuration would give me the highest yields under a 400w mh switched to hps during flower? example woudl 4 plants under a 400 vegged for 4 weeks be better than 9 vegged for 2 weeks

here are the factors i woudl like advice on total yield:

amount and size of planters
proximity to light if 2 inches from light currently measures 8o degrees
soil medium ie coco with 10% perlite, peat with 50% perlite, 50% perlite vermiculite, 100% perlite etc
days/ weeks of veg time
days/ weeks flower time
use of addititves every watering such as mychorrizae, hydrogen peroxide , balck strap molasses, super thrive etc and what amount to use each watering
use of air injection in the soil/ soilesss mix ie what liter per minute or cc per minute air pumpforced into planters and what configuration ie t fittings etc can it be run 24/7 unlike co2 which is only effective during light period?
use of c02 and what ppm for best yield
use of supper cropping when how where and how often
flushing when how and will h202 help the flush regain oxygen in the soil and can direct air injection be used as well?
use of myler no crinkles completely flat
veg photoperiod for best yield
temperature and humididty durign veg and flower for best yield

i know these might have all been asked and answered but id like all the answers on one page if thats possible anyone who makes an attempt to answer/ help me gets automatic rep guaranteed

wow!!! please do some research because this is a lot of questions to pile onto one thread. most of these questions can be answered with the stickies on the newbie central www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/ . people here are really nice and willing to help but you need to be able to help yourself before others can help you.

yeah but then whats the point of joining a forum? i intend to post my results on here i was just looking for advice that way we can come to a consensus onhow to get to a g per watt and it will help other noobs

Four plants in 11l or 18l if you can fit it, 20% perlite 20% vermaculite, 7week veg, thats all i can answer right now, but for supercropping i have just waited untill they get a bit tall then i supercrop around half way from my last point of supercrop, i'v only supercropped twice so far on one of my plants. I also like my temps around 75f and humidity at 45%-55%, but if you are using c02 you can deal with higher temps i think. I would do this if i had you're setup. 4 plants in 11l pots, top them all, supercrop and veg for 8 weeks and lst also is very handy to keep an even canopy.

veg 8 plants for 3 weeks, in good store bought organic soil, give them Mollasses at day 30 and 45 of flower, and just water after that. cut them down, dry them and smoke that shit up!!!

For a one-time grow, you will get more yield with more veg. The length of optimal veg depends chiefly on your available space.
The question I struggle with is what will give me the yield over time. This is where few plants/more veg vs. more plants/less veg gets debated.

I would recommend scrog instead of supercrop. You got a 400W light (me too), which is kinda small & will support a relatively small space. All things being equal, I think scrog would give you higher yield.

I don't know if soil type is going to really impact yield. You want enough drainage to have a healthy grow. Some like soil with nukes built-in, others like to add separately from early on. I use Fox Farms 80% light warrior/20% OF to germinate, then 50/50 for remaining grow.

I have a small grow box and use 2-gal smart pots. I would not recommend much smaller. If you are going to veg a long time and/or have a long flowering plant, you may end up getting root bound. This will impact plant health & yield.

There was just a good thread on CO2, saying that it was not just for big grows and offered some specifics. This can enhance your yield.

Of all the factors you listed, you may want to reconsider soil vs hydro. Done correctly, hydro will increase your yields.

Good luck with your grow !
