Himalayan Blue Diesel - when does smell & trichomes develop

I'm growing two Himalayan blue diesel auto flowers in 3 gallon pots in bio buzz light soil mix & using bio buzz ferts. In 2x2x5 tent under 250w red cfl & 125w blue cfl 20/4. Babies are now 38 days and looking good, with good bud development, but as yet to become very pungent or develop many trichomes. Anyone else grown HBD and remember when smell and trichomes developed?

I was going to get some HBD but I was talked out of it because many people had very poor experiences with it. Sorry mate. Im sure it will still be good!

Well my HBD starting showing preflowers at day 18! It only started to pump out serious resin and weight around the day 35+.
I gotta say tho they are alot fatter now than the pic I posted in that thread. They smell so nice aswell! Can't wait to smoke a banger of this stuff.
BTW my set-up is v.dif to you. I have a 600w HPS and i'm in 11ltr pots. Also she is 3ft tall, lolz.

Nice plants. Mine sound like little behind yours as didn't show pre flowers until day 22. Both how shot up and can't be far behind 3ft. Noticed this morning that they less developed plant has started to smell, so hopefully both be building resin in days.

Day 48 and now have developed a good covering of trichomes. Both have diffent smells, with one more diesel and he other lighter and fruitier. One plant appears to be 4 or 5 days behind, but is now the taller plant. Growth slowed about a week ago, which is handy as just about have lights at highest point in tent.

mine never did get a very dank smell, and a friend of mine grew it with the same result. very good smoke but lacks taste and aroma.

How long did you dry and cure your crop? My drying room is currently 50% RH and 21c, so hoping to dry for 6 days and then cure for month at least. Be burping jars regular until RH down to 62%. Planning on trying some of the humidity packs in jars as well.
