Hey guys new to indoor growing was wondering How My girls looking so far?

Iv had a few problems along the way that many people here have helped me with I am very thankful for that.

There is 4 Hindu Kush and 1 Baby northern lights!

600w hps was installed 1 day ago they have been in 12/12 for about 2 now.

Still no noticeable pistils coming from the buds sites just pre flowers... I do see some thin hairs tho I think. Was surprised as they didn't stretch as much as I expected.

They are in 5 gal fabric pots and are getting fed GH Flora + boosters.

Should I be worried about not seeing pistils yet? I did a leaf trim early 12/12 could that be delaying it?

Thanks for stopping by :)

Pics are with MH, lights off and then HPS. NL is the top right he's propped up to match the rest.

Your plants look real nice.

It regularly takes 7-21 days for the plants to transition from veg to flower mode :). It all depends on your plant genetics and environment. That is why you shouldn't count "flower time" from the 12/12 switch, but rather from when you start to see buds forming. Its different for every plant, and counting from the wrong time can really give a false idea of how long the plant is taking to flower. If you run the same strain again, it will be different. Even if you ran clones of the same plant, if you count from 12/12 it will flower for a different length of time.

In the end it won't matter when you count from, because the plants are only done when they are done. But if you like records, and you want them to really be accurate, then flower time starts when the plants actually start making flowers.

Thankyou for clarifying This! Very good peoce of information. Iv only grown outdoors before and I never paid that much attention to breeder days! good ol jewler loupe usually does the trick for me.

this time I actually control the light cycle so it's making me extra anxious aha

Ok guys so the buds started to come in around the 9th! But of course I have another problem now :(.

So all the girls seem to be looking good but one of the Hindu Kush seems to be yellowing rather quickly on the big fan leaves attached to the stalk. What could this be ? And why only one plant?

If it matters this plant is the tallest out of the bunch. The leaves look golden almost. Had a 2 leaves on the same mode turn this colour during veg aswell. Don't know why it's doing this. Any idea?

HOnestly it might just be a little more hungry then the others. Some plants eat more. The new growth looks good though, so I wouldn't worry much. Maybe bump your nutes up a small amount.
