When do you erect your celebratory hard wood and don it with shimmering balls, lights and glistening garland?

Do you erect your needle laden post before thanksgiving?

Do you not stand your stiff wood until after turkey day?

Used to be the weekend after T'giving but the kids are grown and gone and it's gotten later and later. I'm considering not putting up a tree but son is thinking about coming in for Christmas this year so maybe a tree, maybe not LOL God I love this getting old shit.

My cats enjoy trees the ensuing mess is not enjoyable but anything for the kittehs.

My cockatoo climbs the tree, tosses the balls like grenades and will jump out at you. Reminds me I have to buy more disposable balls, or possibly plastic but he likes the crash the glass makes. He's an ass but I love him too.

mine's in plastic most of the year. I don't put up a big one anymore. although I have enough ornaments for five trees. always reminds me of the past which can be depressing.

I use to have a little tree and just keep it up all year, sheer laziness. Then the little one came along and I had to upgrade to a bigger one last year at the behest of every woman in my life. I'll probably put it up first week of December. I hear if you put up an Xmas tree before December a turkey rapes an elf.

I'll be putting my tree up after thanksgiving and letting the kiddos decorate it. Y'all wanna guess the colors? Silver and blue bitches! With lil cowboys ornaments too :hump:
