Pardon my language but wow these are some strong winds. Good luck to everyone tonight that has not lost their power here in Michigan, I am going to smoke a joint and go to bed.:eyesmoke: The lights are flickering, makes me wish I had a backup generator. Also makes me wish I did not have so many tall trees around my house.

Every night I go to bed hoping shit will get better here in Michigan, but I do not see it happening. Every day I go to work for 10-12 hours and all I see is poverty and people living off scraps like animals. I work so god damn hard just to not end up like them and I still find myself doing so much dirt to stay alive its not even funny. This winter is not going to be good for the people on bottom, there is even less to go around.

I just looked at the outage map and realized I got so F' ing lucky. This would be
the absolute worst time imaginable to lose power. I would be stinking up a sq. mile
without a filter running.

I hope everyone else is in the same boat.

Everyone on the outskirts of town lost power they said it will take up to 4 more days for them to get power so everyone is staying at the town hall.

I had the power go out on me right in the middle of doing a run of bubble. scooping out hash is not fun with a flashlight.

Holy crap Im lucky! I've been battling a backed up floor drain flood for a few days now. My only lifeline is a single utility pump to keep the water out of the basement and away from my garden. The power started flickering and I would be F*cked if it went out. Within hours I'd have water flooding into my 4 kw flower room and 2kw veg room. I'm counting my lucky stars tonight, thankful I only have to run a pump for 10 minutes every hour. Despite the fact I havent slept longer than one hour in the last 48 hours, I'm eternally grateful I still have electricity to keep the pumps pumping. Otherwise, I'd be using my fully charged Ryobi batteries to power my hand drill attached to a drill pump. What a shitty cheap made in China backup plan. Glad I haven't had to use it yet :D
