hortilux light

Yea, it's good. I have a buddy who had one spazz out on him the other day. I just use the 20 dollar bulb from lowes. It works just as well. I think there is a little less lumen output. Plus, if it goes out I can replace it in like 10 minutes. It's just convienient. So if you get the hortilux, I'd get a sylvania bulb from lowes as a backup at least.

Id go with an eye 430 watt... For flowering, in that wattage area, they are the shit, meaning good of course...

I used em many times and my buddies with the cheap bulbs always wonder why my harvest are bigger, and I think thats one of the reasons..

It's actually a higher quality bulb than a lot of bulbs you find at a hydro store. The spectrum is just different. It's their better option because it's one of the most expensive. It DOES put off about 8 thousand more lumens per bulb than the sylvania bulb, but it's also 90 dollars. The sylvania is 19.98 and it's not considered a grow light however it will work in your ballast (s51). I've had great results with it. The only huge difference is the price.

My 400 watt HPS Sylvanias have served me well for years. I just can't find $70.00 worth of good argument to change.
