How can I prevent the flower of my plants from breaking after they have bloomed and become heavy?

One way is to add a multi-layer of horizontal trellis netting to the plants as they begin to flower. The first layer of horizontal trellis netting is a support structure that allows the plant to develop vertically in a way that its stem cannot support, and the last layer of trellis netting is used to cover the top of the plant. This netting itself is a sparse grid design, so you don't have to worry about the netting blocking light and thus interfering with the plants' later growth.
Instead, as the plant grows and the flowers slowly move through the netting, the netting will support the increasingly heavy flowers later on, effectively preventing the plant from breaking.
Do you have any other tips besides this method?
