How can I tell if the weed is GOOD. REAL GOOD???

sticky, strong odor, nice taste, clean hit(not harsh on throat) but should expand nicely in the lungs(takes your breath away), 1 bowl should get you high.

I don't know how often you smoke, but you sound relatively new so .1 sounds like it might give you a decent buzz. But then again some people don't get high their first time. So you may need more, To see how good it is look for sugar looking crystals coating the bud because that's the stuff you want (thc). Good bud isn't as leafy.

On topic:

I'm not quite sure why you would measure out .1 grams. Just put a decent amount in a bowl (if you have one, if you don't don't even bother trying to measure it and just roll a joint) and take one strong hit. A strong hit is when you start choking after holding it for a second or two.

You should be pretty twisted from that.

I think three hits ofamy weed weed will get a newbie hi. I would just take two orthree hits and wait a few minutes to see how hi you get. you can always take more but you can't give it back

Maybe he's just growing it for a sick friend who has lots of cash and he is trying to be nice to him and doesn't smoke it himself. ;-);-) I'm sure a few have grown for that sick friend who is fairly wealthy. ;)

If you don't smoke regularly any weed is good weed, If you smoke every day (like I'm guessing a lot of us do) then "very green leafy weed" isn't gonna cut it.
It should smell potent before you even open the bag, have lots of red hairs and lots of crystals, the buds should be tight and the harder to chop (sticky and solid buds) the better it will smoke

of course I am basing all of this on weed where I live..........which is probably irrelevant to anyone outside of Australia :)

not a good day today............ resorted to resin.......... resin always make for an unproductive day

smoked it all and I was like wtf? seriously. This is weak shit. Finished it off. 5 minutes later. I didn't even realize how high I was. I was just babbling bullshit.
