Plants hermie because of stress. The number one reason for hermies, I was told, is light leaks or interruptions of the dark cycle. They need to be in COMPLETE darkness, uninterrupted, during the dark cycle. I've heard if you must check them at night, you should install a green bulb in your room, since they do not absorb green light. If you have hermies, you might as well start over.Yes, you can smoke hermie buds, but they will not be sensimillia (seedless),and therefore not as potent as they could have been.A lot of newbs make this mistake when growing the first time;it's just so exciting.I peeked on my first grow, and sure enough, they hermied.(but I also think it was bad genetics). Good luck.
hey everyone , i'm new on here and the reason for that is that I am having a lil trouble .. My plants are already in the third week of budding and i noticed something weird on 3 of the plants.. there all female but these 3 seem to be growing seeds. My friend happen to bring 2 of them in that he was growing himself the rest are clones. I confronted him about it and he said it might be because we open the door to the room and shine light in when the lights are off... I don't know if this is true ..any suggestions facts or anything that might help ????? i will gladly appreciated!!
