How close should my lights be to my plants in flowering stage?

im not sure if my lights are close enough to my plants but also dont want to move them closer incase i burn them im using rockwool and my lights are currently about half a metre higher than the top of the plants which are in 2nd week of flowering the highest temp up there at the moment is 22c as its really cold just now normally its about 34c hence im wondering if the lights need lowered ??

You want a temp around 23c (75f). How far away the lights should be depends on the lights but if its CFLs or something that doesnt give off heat, keep them like 1-2" away. If its HID lighting keep them between 8-12" away, generally speaking

its a dual spectrum sun master 600 watt lamp i have noticed there is little white hairs forming but no buds yet is this normal?

if its too hot on the back of your hand mate then its too hot for your plants
btw I'm using the exact same bulb and the hair thing is normal its just the beginning of flowering

everyone keeps them at different heights all depends on your grow, the only way to truely find out is just adjust and watch the temps. I keep my 400w 6in above the canapy sometimes less, but I also have extremely low temps where most the time I have a heater on. The hand test is the best method lower the light and stick your hand ontop of your canopy if it's too hot for you it's too hot for her. I also hang my thermometer from my light on a piece of string exactly to the height I know I can get as close as possible without burning the leafs or buds.. GL
