How do i breed strains?

Im not the most advanced grower when it comes to making my own strain. Let me try, and tell me if im wrong. I have one female and i want to mix it with another strain. If i want to do this i would need 1 male of the desired mixture to pollinate the female? Also how can i accuire males from a very good strain? Thanks

You could grow males from seed of a strain you like and think would go well with your female strain...extract a pollen sac just before it bursts, that should contain enough pollen to pollinate a female Cannabis plant to produce seeds
