Is there a old trick to cutting a plant the night before I have time to pre trim to beat a rainstorm , and put it in water or something to keep the leaves perky so I can trim it the next day

after you chop just put the stems in water they will stay perky. dont get the buds wet they will go moldy.

Put them to a bucket with a small fish tank air pump or compressor,
you do have a bubble cloner yeah?
