I'm sure there is some quick and easy method to this. especially for those watering 100 200 and even 300 gallon pots. I would bet my life they don't let gallons and gallons of water sit and dechlorinate and water with handheld watering cans. lol anyone who grows in these sizes, what is your watering method? obviously outdoor soil growers.

I'm getting tired of watering my 7 gallon pots already lol and they only eat up 2 gallons each every 2-3 days.

sometimes I just wanna water them with the hose.. and I'm not gonna do that, so help me out yall!!

How about a picture of one of these 100 gallon planters, eh? A 300-gallon planter? Get the hell out of Dodge. Why,oh why, are you so concerned about chlorine? It quickly dissipates hitting the atmosphere or soil and changes into chloramines? Any water fit for human consumption from a tested source is okay to water with.

Your not gonna kill anything with tap water and ive never ever once waited for any stupid chlorine to fucking evaporate. @hotrodharley, this is a 200 gallon hole dug and filled with mixed dirt. Btw, its good to see you back from your rollitup vacation. I didnt see you around here for almost two years i figure..View attachment 3509732
My company transferred me from Alaska to TEXAS to finish my career. That place is frigging nuts! I wouldn't even think of planting a seed there. Thanks for the welcome back!

FYI aerating tap water takes about a few hours for every 5 gallons of water to remove chlorine. 100 gal pot would require about 12.5 gallons of water.

So my 1000 gallon tank would take how many hours? Fuck that  its a nice idea and thanks for adding, i always respect your input but i just wouldnt wait that long to water. I hear a lot of hydro guys even say they like tap water because of the chlorine content.

I do let water sit but honestly sometimes I forget and I havnt noticed any adverse affect to watering with the hose opposed to letting it sit out ...........my city grow has a shit load of chlorine no difference from my private well mountain grow as far as plants .......people put to much concern into chlorine and ph when it comes to soil ........why complicate an easy process of soil growing I've tried all the different methods over the years and i have no problem irrigating straight off the tap in my grows hotrodharley is absolutely right

that's exactly why I'm here fellas to learn from you all. I'm no professional, yet. but thanks yall. so some of you all just water with a hose and some dechlorinate and completely disregard what people say about hard tap water and ppm and ph and all that shit? I don't know yet whether to care about those things or not. I live in la county.

Every part of growing is a give and take. Theres no one way to do it. If you want to be finatical about everything then all the power to you, and, if you want to just let it work itself out then theres nobody that can stop you. You make your own schedule and theres really no one best way to do things because every micro climate that an indoor grower creates is different than the next. Some guys run hard all grow long and then flush. Some guys run minimal nutes and if they flushed the plant would beach itself. Some guys trim up their plants because of humidity, light, and airflow problems, and others runn all natural and dont trim a branch off except to clone. At the end of the day practice makes perfect

I keep my water 3/4 of the way covered. I keep it aerating with an air pump and air stones. Not just sitting stagnant. It keeps the water moving around and adds o2 to the water as well.

I water frequent enough my water wouldn't go stagnant no matter what .....but the meat god you use is a common one ......I've just tried pretty much every other method and type of water and I honestly don't see a difference in straight out the tap or well or rain and I've used all three ....actually I have a few gardens and one uses tap one uses well there the same strains and there both doing delicious All to there own though my friend

Make a watering wand to make it easy.

I was in a tent my last grow, so it was tough to get back to all of the plants with a pitcher or what have you.

I took a little pump, put 1/2 inch tubing on the attachment to fit my needs, then taped a bamboo stick to the end so you have something to guide the water.

what I did was when I dug my hole in the spring.. I placed a 2 gallon jug(with a lot of holes thru it..xcept for the bottom inch ) in the hole 2 ft down .. ran a pipe to the surface. attached a hose and clamped it onto a cut 2 ltr pop bottle.
I used the fishpond water that is nearby.
