How do you clone a 100% Indica strain

I have a 100% indica strain called Love Stick#3. It has no side shoots to clip and clone. I was wondering if I should top it and force some side shoots or should I put it into flower and wait for side shoots then clone. I have done this before but it takes a long time for the clone to go back to veg. I am worried that topping will make it have smaller buds because it grows with a huge center cola! What do you think! Thanks for any input! Everyone have a Merry Christmas and Have a Blessed New Year!

Can you do the whole community a huge favor and post a link to any pic of the growth pattern on that plant please, it may be of use to a special project some are considering doing.

Have you ever by any chance flowered one really tiny? (again not really helping you am I)

Does it never have side shoots until flower or couuldn't you just veg it until it does?

A pic would be great. I will be undertaking a small experiment on behalf of oregonmeds and growth pattern of the strain we choose is paramount.

To answer your question though, I would def top. Don't worry about 1 Big Cola. I just harvested some 100 percent indica today which were topped and ended up with 3 to 8 Main cola's. Some so big they had to be tied up.

This sounds to me like a mix of cannabis indica and cannabis ruderalis. Never knew such a thing existed.

It'll stay super short, grow really fast and have only one main cola.

Yea, top it and clone it, you'll still get a bunch of buds from a plant like that.

PS: I'm curious, since the auxin production is coming from the top of the plant, if you supercrop it, will ant side branches begin to show? Anyone think they can shed some light on this?

This Plant Did the exact same thing your talking about.
It didn't grow for shit, and one day it shot off.
You can see that it's Indica. The Cuttings are harder than hell to to Clone.
3 weeks on one clone and still no roots.
Heres some Pics from when it was a seedling to present.
