If you just hand water your plants and they are just in plates, how do you guys catch your runoff? I have a 200ml syringe that I just try and suck it all up before it overflows the pots' tray but it's a PITA.

I used to have a little battery operated transfer pump that worked well, but now I'm going to try a brand new manual gasoline transfer pump. I haven't used it yet but it should work awesome-it was under $15 I think.

How big are your pots?

If 10 gallon or under just water in your shower. Let run off finish out. Put back in tent.

Simple and doesn't cost a thing.
That might be a bit ... difficult. These plants (and the net they're tangled in) won't be going anywhere until harvest day. The pots are pretty small this grow, there are 4 plants in 8" pots.

I think the other issue some will find with the diy stuff is they don't have the height. The more vertical space you have the easier some of these ideas will be but even the one I posted will add 5 or 6 inches which could be more than some can deal with. I suppose it is just a matter of finding what works best for you but some great ideas here.
