How do you find a trusted hvac guy to come to house for 4 ton ac

I just bought a 4 ton split ac system got everything installed but the manual said to vacuum test the lines. I don't want to mess this thing up as it cost me 5500. Any ideas on how to be safe and choose the right guy, everywhere I call they want access to the inside where the units are, but I already have plants in there. I am a legal grower but it still concerns me very much . Thanks for any help in advance.

Maybe someone on here is located in e Seattle area that knows hvac lol now I just dreaming, even then I don't think I'd be comfortable with it. Lol

Your best bet would be to remove the plants and the equipment while they run the test

Seems like if you want something done you will need to bight the bullet and have it done. Its hard to believe that their is not a HVAC person that would do this for you and not care. Half the HVAC people I know smoke. I worked on very high end residential telecom and data in San Francisco for 10 years and have seen some cool grow rooms / outdoor plants next to and on the sites where I worked. I never once thought of stealing it or reporting anybody. I am sure you could find somebody to help you with this. Maybe some HVAC guy has the tools and does side work. There are lots of people out their looking for work and weed. You have both that one would want and there are honest people left in the world. Don't cut yourself short. Good luck overachiever and kick ass on your grow. What I am picturing looks pretty cool.

Try asking at your local grow store, one you deal with, maybe they can point you in the right direction.... ATB!

I have also read you can do it easy but the manual says to not even use the ends that came with the line, to cut those off and use the nut that came with the inside unit, and to vacuum purge the lines and test for leak the release freion, how would I do it myself, everywhere I read says it shortens the life of the unit and doesn't get as cold if not vacuum or whatever

Its sketchy, i had to do same with an electric guy and hvac for 5 ton ac and new whole box... plants were in scrog and immoveable. I went to my hydro store that spent bunch of money an talked to them personally and found 2 guys who are patients that actually ended up doing multiple friends rooms also.

only problem was they INSISTED on showing up with blacked out suv with wheels on it. Asked not to come back with that car and next time they do it again anyways.

I have 20 years in the a/c business. IF you need to have the line ends flared, you might have a little problem, Or, harbor freight sells a flare kit, http://www.harborfreight.com/double-tube-flaring-tool-kit-66534.html you just flare the ends, screw them on and purge the system. It's pretty easy. Like I said, i can walk you thru it if you want to do it. You will purge the unit and won't shorten the life, so, don't worry about that.

Just wanted to say I found and guy and all seems well, he did have to see inside and was pretty amazed but very professional. Still does not cool my rooms very well, doesn't seem to blow really cold air any way to test to see if everything is still good?
