How Do You Keep Your Personal Stash "Just Right" or if it dries,what's the remedy? Seem to me it's always a compromise but everyone has their own personal technique and I might learn something new.TIA

I like my stuff more towards the dry side.

Add a drop of distilled water to the lid and put in the fridge or anywhere the temp stays below 70*F. Avoid fruit & citrus peels, bread, and leaves. The sugars in them attract mold. This method works pretty good in a pinch, but it does take a little guesswork. Sometimes you need more then a drop and other times a drop is to much.

If you want a foul proof dead reliable method you can buy Heartfelt 60% RH humidity beads. A little expensive, but they last forever and you can recharge them with distilled water. There are other companies that will custom charge the beads to a lower RH if you want. Just Google "humidity beads" for suppliers.

I wet a 1 inch square piece of paper towel and put it in a bottle cap. Put the cap on top of the buds and close jar for a day. Should be fairly moist then.

Do not let the wet paper towel touch the buds or any water touch them. The less air space in the jar, the less the buds will dry out too. Pack em in but do not crush them.

Humidors keep cigars at the perfect RH essentially forever. Optimal RH for stash is somewhat lower (50-60%). Here's what you would need: Humidor, hygrometer (to measure RH levels), crystal humidifier, propylene glycol (or distilled H2o). The idea is to reduce some of the moisture that the crystals emit, therefore lowering the RH to desired levels. Placing some tape over the holes in the crystal humidifier would seem to reduce output to reach the 50-60% sweet spot. This method should keep cured stash perfect for years.

buddy has a nice humidor he bought for a few hundred bucks. nice one that will hold about 5 ounces of his personal stash. his shit is always fresh even months after his dry and cure. i call bullshit but it works for him. was thinking about getting one myself. but i might just swipe a spot in his.

buddy has one that has closable vents on the inside and shit to control the amount of humidity it holds. its a nice one tho he spent a few good hundies on it tho. i was thinking about getting one but he had to figure out how to get it just right. he said it was kinda guess work with weed and not so much with cigars. lol.
