How do You know when to take clones

Sorry if there is already threads on this but I need some additional info. Things such as if I’m using regular seeds how do I know if I’m taking clones from a mother I’d hate to waste time on extra males. I’d also be doing this in one tent until I upgrade. Basically taking close from one to make more to go alongside it

You need to sex them when they show their sex

They either have to be mature/old enough to be showing sex or when you alter the lighting for flower but they still have to be mature/old enough before they show parts

Going to be tough jn one tent. You’ll be flowering on 12/12 and rooting clones/veg on 18/6 or whatever cycle you choose.
