How do you provide light to the mothers and the clones?

Hey guys, this question popped up in my head and I'm not sure what to do.

Alright, I'll be doing a 6 plant DWC setup for the veggie stage. Of course that gets a light. Now I also want to clone from the healthy mothers. Would I need another light strictly for the clones? I would place the clones with the mothers so they can both receive the same light but since the mothers would be much bigger than the clones, I don't think the clones would receive the light they need.

So how do guys provide light to the mothers and the clones? Is there a trick so you can use 1 bulb or do I have to buy a second one?

Thanks!

If you're going to be using fluorescent tubes you would probably need an extra light for the clones ( 2ft - 4ft depending on how many clones you will have). Sometimes you can have your clones on a shelf by themselves and mother plants on a seperate shelf. If you have a metal halide light then you shouldn't need another light source for the clones. Just my 2 cents hope it helps you.
