3 plants, 4 weeks old from day they poped the dirts surface. This is my 1st attempt at growing Cannabis so I wanted to put one of them into flower before the other, its pretty much just for curiousity because I want to see what Im in for when I flower the others. Also I wanted to just make sure my new 400w mh/HPS works fine, that way I get no surprises when I finally do put all into flower. So I just wanted to know if this was to early to attempt flowering yet in the plant? Any adviceb sweet!

Do they have alternating nodes? How tall are they and how many nodes? Most likely at 4 weeks you could flower, I have heard of successful 12/12 flowing from seedling on these forums.

you won't be hurting anything by flowering, but it won't expedite the process much.. best wait till you get preflowers/ alternate nodes, won't take much more than another 2 wks and you will have much improved yield.

YES^^^ You should wait till the plant shows sex in the veg room before putting it in flower. It will work but its not the best. Its like people sure a 12 year old can have a kid but its soooo much better to wait till full maturity happens naturally no need to force anything.

Haha, I love that 12 yo kid comparison. But back to your plants. You can start flowering them any time you want. Really. Even from the seed. But the later you start the bigger your yield should be because your plants will be bigger! What is important is your grow room space and cealing clearance. Once you put them to flower they will at least double in size/height.

Thanks for the info guys. Ya, I just basically doing this one as a tester basically. I have 2 bigger ones still in veg and germinated 5 more NL couple days ago so I thought one plant wont hurt right haha. So far my light is working great and I also FIM'd the one in flower, my 1st time doing that too, so curious to see it how that works out :). I just want to experiment a bit and see what results I get! thanks yall. Im like a sponge right now. Man cultivating cannabis really takes some knowledge and skill to do properly. Im def figuring that out now:weed:

Its good to experiment but i would suggest getting a good hold on the strain first. That way you know what to expect from the plant and can better evaluate your tests. Also its sooooo important to only do one thing at a time. Like with ferts. Its important to add one supplement at a time and see what it does for you and your plants. If you through a bunch of stuff at the plant and say it dies you have no idea what did it and didnt learn a damn thing.
