How far apart?

I have some small plants that have been growing for I think about 3 weeks. They seem to be doing good, I have them in 3 inch peat pots and water them when the soil feels mostly dry to touch. This weekend I plan on moving them to they're final location deep in some woods nearby. I have a few questions. How far apart should I plant them? The soil seems very good at the location, do I have to treat it or can I leave it alone? I have 68 plants in the peat pots, should I plant them in a few different patches? Or would it be ok to plant them in one large patch? Thanks for any replys!

Better to spread them around, that way if someone finds one patch they don't find them all, outdoors I'd give them at least a few feet apart or more if you can. Bring a pH tester around and make sure the soil is between 6 and 6.5 ideally but they'll grow from 5.5-7.5 just not anywhere near as well at the extremes, if the soil is really compact you could bring some perlite or regular rocks and them em in there. Remember when you're putting them out there that at least once you're going to have to lug a shitload of water out there, or you can build some crappy rain traps with buckets with window screens on top to keep bugs out and duct tape to hold them down (requires maintenance though as you need to combine the water in the buckets every so often and cover them to combat evaporation), then leave pH up or down out there depending on the rainwater in your area. If you're paranoid always wear gloves when touching stuff you could leave fingerprints on, don't take the same path in the woods, or clear and obvious path and then make it somewhere non-obvious hidden from the main path. If you don't want seeds you have to be very meticulous and kill every male as pollen can travel very long distances.
