how far should the light be???

Whats up new here and a noob grower in my first grow, and i have two cfls about 2 inces from my plant its about 1 1/2 inches tall and has 6 leaves and im pretty sure i can see 2 lil ones that are gonna come in, anyway i put my hand between the light and the plant and it is not hot im just not sure bcuz the top leaves are a lighter green than the other 4 , other than that its growing and looks healthy just wanna b safe rather than sorry thanks for any help anyone can give!

im growing with 2 cfls aswell , but it would be better if there were pics , it would help so we know what ur talkin about

i have my lights 2 inches away just like urs an i havent had any problems , it would also depend on what kind of cfls ur using , im using 6500k cfls

It all depends how strong the cfl's are. If there the smaller bullshit ones then keep em close but if they are the bad boys move em a little up as they can dry the soil.

yea I have the lil bullshit ones lol the swirls that look round and they are both 100watt so thanks but is there a reason it is a lighter green or is that natural?

if the light green is coming from the inner part of the stem and middle of leaves then its normal. just a growin thing.
