What can I expect from a 250 watt mh light in a grow tent and in another tent a 250 watt hps light?

These are the lights I am going to get. I can only grow 6 plants, since they are only for medical. I need to know how to keep 'em cool. Fans etc? if so how many, should i point a fan directly at them or somethen? please help!!:confused:
They are going to put out about 75% of the heat of the bulb. So they are going to throw about 375 watts of heat into your space. Depending on the size, temperature, and circulation that may not be a big problem.

However, most people totally underestimate how hot these bulbs can get and heat is terrible for your plants. They'll veg just fine, but flowering you'll lose considerable yield.

For 6 plants, you'll do pretty well with that, those bulbs are not going to get that hot.

Always use fans to circulate air. How big's the tent? I would say at most, just use a CAN fan to suck air out and use passive intakes depending on the ambiant temps in your room.

I think you'll be fine, MH + HPS == Nice light for your plants, they'll love it.

Are these good for me guys? I'm putten them in my closet and my closet is 66" tall x 25" deep x 61" wide. So Im thinking of getting both of these tents to fill the room and I am going to get the 250 watt hps for flower and 250 watt mh for vegg. Is this all good enough for six medical plants to give me a constant supply?
