how long do i leave light cycle on 12 12?

ive been on a 18/6 light cycle for a month now when should i switch to 12/12? and how long do i leave it on 12/12?

when you're ready to flower, and then you leave it there 'till your done.

To elaborate on frmrboi's reply, when your plants are grown large enough, hopefully not too large for you blooming space. They will grow in 12/12 approx Double to Triple their current size.
My Clones get to approx 12" tall then I put them into Bloom end result is usually a 36" tall plant approx, maybe a little bigger but with excellent conditions and assuming I did not mess up the PH, PPM, Temp, Timer, Humidity, light height (I Almost burned up a main cola on my first grow 1000w HPS too close)

Exactly. Once you switch to 12/12, they stay under that schedule til they're completely finished.
