how long do seeds last?

hey guys ive been a smoker for some time. lately ive been thinking about turning into a grower. nothing bigtime just enough for me and my close freinds. now ive actually collected seeds from past bags of headies. and i think ive got maybe 12 seeds. both male and female. but i was wondering. do seeds get old? ive had a few for some time now. ive kept them in a tight clean pill bottle but i dont know if they can go bad... is that possible? i mean i know if you break or crush them they are no good right? but can you keep seeds a long while? i think a couple ive got are over 2 years old lololol. sounds old for a seed... so let me know guys thanks.

Well I just found some from high school which was ten years ago and they won't pop out. I think a year or two is max...I think

i dont think a seed can go old i think some are just hollow so YEAH smoke the seeds naw im kidding haha

seeds can go old, if old enough it will look discolored, and will often crack if you squeeze it, a good way to tell if you have a good seed is by rolling it with your fingers to see if it will crack or stay solid.
