How long does pollination take?

I'm trying to make some seeds so I have a female cutting and 2 males cuttings (from the same father) and they're all flowering. I put them together in their own room one week ago. I have gently shaken the males and seen the pollen wafting to the female. How long do I need to keep the males with her? I have a bunch of really big females growing outside getting ready for harvest, and even though I'm careful not to go outside near the females if I've gone into this room, I'm getting nervous. I'd like to get rid of the males as soon as possible but I don't want to ruin this experiment. Thanks for any advice!

If it’s been days you’re good, it really only takes minutes from what I understand. Once the pollens in the room it’s too late to stop it.

Thank you! I haven't seen any change in the female other than she's still making pistols. But from what you're saying, I could ditch the males and as her buds get bigger they should be full of seeds, in a few weeks.

The pollination is like few seconds actually, but the time the pollen needs to reach the flower depends. When your lady goes hermie on you - the single pollen bag can pollinate the whole tent if not removed in time so you're good, they most likely pollinated already :)

Thanks - appreciate the info. My set up is not in a tent which is why I'm getting nervous about all the pollen floating around. I've never tried this before and I don't grow indoors - always outdoors in the summer.
