This strain is ideal for beginners which is right for me as a freshman. My plant will be in week 8. How long do you think I will harvest? and how long it took you? Just can't wait to smoke the buds.

Hey dude, very good looking plants you got there so far.
I just wanted to tell you, harvest when your plants are done, not when the calendar hits week 8.
Ask around and search, to learn how to identify when they are done. Watching the all pistils turn orange and curl back into the swollen buds is a reliable way to tell, from what I've learned.
I know you might be anxious, as I was on my first time, I was watching the calendar like a boiling pot. But now I know better, and even tho I do keep up with how much time it has passed, I know they will take as much as they need and there is no better way than to be patient, and wait for the flowers to get properly ripe.
I wish you good luck and keep posting on the site to figure out the ripeness of your plant, over here there are some very knowledgeable people.

You've got a long ways to go, be patient. You need the pistils to mostly dried and wrinkled, trichomes mostly cloudy, with some amber. During the last couple weeks the buds will swell a lot. Old adage, "When you think they're ready, wait two more weeks!"
